Whats's with the crazy Hawaii weather?

If you’ve been following the weather reports, then you’ve probably heard that Hawaii has been pretty socked in by rain.  There have been some incredible thunder and lightning storms, not to mention electrical storms, high winds, and heavy rain throughout Hawaii’s islands.  But should this display of wet weather steer you away from having a great vacation in Hawaii?  Absolutely not.  Visitors need to remember why Hawaii is as desirable of a location as its name implies.  Tropical rainforests, lush scenery, verdant hillsides, all this green beauty comes from someplace… it comes from the rainfall, particularly the amount of it.
